Successful guest blog articles should clearly demonstrate that you are a thought leader or subject matter expert in area that can be applied to sales, pitching and negotiating. Post topics can be about sales, pitching and negotiating but we will also consider unique articles that may be of interest to sales people and sales leaders. For example, general business, leadership, neuroscience, IT, communications, marketing, health, travel and security can all benefit our sales audience.

Requirements for Guest Blogging

If you want to guest blog for Salestrong, we’re looking for:

  • STRONG, original and high quality work. (Search engines disqualify duplicate content)
  • A short, (two or three sentence) author bio including one link to your own website or blog.
  • Limited self-promotion in your blog post. The content should be to teach and inform, not to sell.
  • A professional work photo or headshot that you have permission to use.
  • A maximum of two outbound links in your blog post that can link to your own website or blog.
  • Accurate attribution for content that is not your own.
  • Posts should be 400-700 words, of original, high-quality content. If your blog post is more than 1,000 words consider breaking it up so that we can publish a series.
  • Submit in a word document, or similar, and attach images separately.

If Salestrong decides to publish your content, please don’t post it on other blogs or websites. It’s much better to share the article and link to it on the Salestrong blog. Salestrong reserves the right to edit, modify or change content as necessary.
