Share of voice is a major determinant of sales success; when customers are given the opportunity to be understood rather than to be talked at, better mutually beneficial outcomes are achieved. The key skill that differentiates the best sales people from the rest is their ability to ask great questions and listen to the answers. This is even more important in the virtual world where we can lose some of the visual cues that help us communicate effectively.
Learning outcomes:
- Learn a simple yet effective structure for questioning that allows you to collaborate effectively with customers and uncover and develop value.
- Use powerful questions to fully understand the customers situation, the issues that they face and the impact that this has on their business, even when you and they may be distanced from their business.
- Understand and transfer into your sales conversations, the tools and techniques that top coaches use to constructively challenge their clients to create positive outcomes.
This is a 3-hour, highly interactive virtual workshop. We recommend a maximum of 9 delegates per workshop, to ensure full interaction from all participants.
Put learning into practice immediately
Fast-track the application of these new skills with our optional add-on practice sessions.
It is far easier for learners to revert to their old ways of doing things than it is for them to apply the new skills learnt during training, particularly when those skills involve interaction with a customer. This is because they have had no opportunity to try out these new skills first.
Our add-on practice sessions place learners in a customer-based scenario, with a Salestrong coach taking on the role of the customer in which they can, not only practice their newly-refined questioning skills but critically, receive expert feedback on how to improve their approach before practicing again.
Giving learners the opportunity to practice in a fail-safe environment accelerates the application of learning, significantly enhancing the impact of the training on your sales people’s results.
Please visit our Customer Conversation Practice and Feedback page for more information on these sessions.
